Responsibilities

Played a key role of support team in Data Centre, shared knowledge with team members l
Identified the hardware , network and software needed to provide solutions to problems. The Data Centre included Sun minicomputer system, Cisco & 3Com routers, Hp Servers, etc. The software environment included Solaris system, Windows NT systrem, Sco Unix system , Lotus notes, Informix database, Sql server database and Oracle database. l

Developed a program to automatically produce a user configuration file of AD system according to the basal information of over 1500 users. Decreased user configuration time by 70%.

Successfully developed a program to automatically disconnect the network connections of the client computers which were infected by virus according to the report of the virus protection servers. It can almost stop the spread of virus immediately.

Played a key role of the support team which maintained the whole network services in XXX with zero working-hours downtime.
●
Reinstalled the Solaris system on a sun server remotely, decreased the time of resuming the bank transaction greatly and solved the matter of great urgency. Because the vendor could not come in a short time and the server did not have a CD-ROM drive.
●
Designed and implemented a new network topology, it used 1 server to build several dialing connections for many different users. It enhanced greatly the network security of the bank by preventing users from connecting to the external network without permission, and provided convenience for users who had no modems to connect to the external network.
