Project brief: This project is a new value-added service for the China Mobile. With the product, the mobile user can buy the lottery and charge the Telephone charges etc. via their personal phone.

Responsibilities: Defined and developed the interface between the M-Commence server and mobile (client).
2007.04.1-2008.03.31 RSD MOL project:
Project brief: RSD (Remote Software Download) is a tool to download the firmware and provision the parameters to ABC mobiles. There are 2 major responsibilities in the project: fixing the bugs/issues reported by customer or tester and added the new provisioning features per the per customer requirement.

2005.08.1-2007.03.31 GSR9 QoS2 Development Team:
Project brief: GSR9 is the latest software/firmware for ABC BSS. QoS 2 feature was a major feature for the GSR9. With QoS2 Feature, the ABC BSS can locate the air interface per the service and mobile capabilities and support the real time service to the mobile user. QoS2 feature has 2 major parts:
One is core part which locates the air resource (bandwidth) for each mobile and service, the other one is Gb part which ensures the data transfer rate and priority between the mobile and BSS is executed per the profile.
My Responsibilities:
I led a team with 4 team members to develop the Gb FA QoS feature for this project as the Gb team leader. Designed the algorithm and refine the requirement, coaching the new comer, delivery the product on time

2005.04.1-2006.03.31 PCU GSR6/GSR7 MOL Team
Project brief: This project is to fixed the ABC BSS bugs/issues reported by customer or tester per the issues/bugs priorities, MOL- maintenance online. PCU is a part of ABC BSS to support the GPRS service.
My Responsibilities: Took the leadership for the GSR GB function area for ABC GSR9 product.
Made the training plan for all new comer and project plan. Support the team member to success the each MS development and familiar with the process.
Took the coordinator for GSR8 CQSR in Chengdu, which is cross different team and different location (Beijing/ Chengdu / Arlindon Heights)
Participated the PCU MOL project as GB TA (Technical Assessor). Fixed the SR generated by customer and executed the processing test to validated the modification.

2002/9 2004/10 GSN Lab Administrator (Cisco Router and Switch and Solaris Administrator)
Participated the GSN transition project, which is a 2.5 G project. My responsibility is listed as the following for more challenges:
1. Design and set up the lab network backbone, which is the 1st lab in ABC GSG;
2. Design and set up the process system to compliance TL9000, passed the TL9000 audit;
3. Take the Lab administrator responsibility;
4. Support the other team to setup the dev/test platform;
5. Developed a auto cable tracing tool;
6. Defined the whole Lab management process.
7. Took part in GGSN Research and development work.
OMC-U Subsystem test project
(10/2001~9/2002) Participated the OMC-U Subsystem Test projected, which is OMC product for UMTS, mainly focusing on the common provisioning and information model. I take the feature technical responsibility as the below:
1. Clarified all issue and problem, which our team member has;
2. Communicated with other team, for example: system test team and design team;
3. As the moderator of all feature which is in the CPA and IM, very the documents’ correctness and completeness;
4. Wrote some feature test plan and execute the test plan as a tester;
5. Do the presentation and training to all new comers as their mentor.
Highlight: Design a auto test tool for IM test. Reduce the 2 h/c in the project. A paper has been adopted in ABC internal press.
INMS-Integrated Network Management System
4/2000-10/2001 Participating developing INMS V1.0 V1.1 and V1.2, which is the TMN product of CDMA system per customer’s requirements. The system was designed for China Unicom CDMA system:
1. Developed the Q3 module named as Q3GW_MSC_FM ;
2. As a subcontract management engineer, managed and maintained the schedule and relative document of subcontract;
3. As an acceptance test engineer, attendrf the acceptance test with other accept test engineer;
12/1997 – 4/2000 UVW Communication (Chengdu. China) Technology Co., Ltd.
Title: S/W Teamlead
1. Designed and developed Super Monitor software that is a monitoring and controlling system for our power system and environment system. My responsibility included developing the Universal Data Interface (UDI) module, which is a multi-thread module. The UDI module provides many functions to GUI (Graph User Interface Module) to update database, query database, set up the communications and get the running status of the whole system. And some additional functions are also available, such as calling the operator's pager and active alarm. Using LabWindows/CVI version 5.0.
2. Searched the differences of V5.x interface between the ITU-T recommend and Chinese standard. My responsibility included providing the proposal of adapting the V5 interface of our access network system (named Matrix Express) to Chinese telecom standard. By the way, the access network is a new communication product, which is between the switch and user. The V5 interface is the standardized interface between the access network and switch.
3. Translated the whole Chinese V5 standard (YDN 020 and YDN 021) to English. My responsibilities included translating the Chinese V5.1 and V5.2 standard of English version and partly revising this document.
4. Designed the software for V5.2 interface and Access Network management system. My responsibilities included analyzing the AN-SMS and designing ISDN BA and ISDN PRA access, developing the diagnostic software and test driver on flash memory for the ISDN/ LET and VF/LET card as a partner.
5. Designed the software for RT VF card. My responsibilities included designing the software with Rational Rose and coding partly, using KADAK RTOS, Borland C++ and Paradigm. Rational Rose as design tool.
6. Set up the TEST system of the Matrix Express for Chengdu RELTEC Co.
7. My responsibilities included designing the test plan and setting up the test platform and system/integration test of the whole system.
8. Lead other team member to draft the set of document and template about Software Develop Process Standard for ISO-9001 certification.
7/1994 - 12/1997 The Institute Of WWW, Chinese Academy of Sciences
Engineer
Developed the software for untouched measure equipment of piston and firmware for the device card driver. My responsibility included designing the software, CCD controlling system and graph process.
Managed SUN workstation. My responsibility included managing the workstation and relative software to support the other engineer to get information as he needed.
Took Charge of Finance Management System development and maintain. My responsibilities included designing the database, database management and code the software on sever.
Developed the Power Management System. My responsibilities included designing and coding for the whole system by myself including GUI, database and report module.
Developed High Definition (1280X1024) CCD (1024 colors) Display and multiprocessor system software and all firmware on TMS320C50 (made by Texas Instrument Co.) My responsibilities included designing the communication protocol and designing the software. There were six DSP in the system, one DSP worked as a master and the other five DSP worked as a slave. The slave DSP did graph process and the master DSP dispatched the job to slave DSP and kept the communication between the DSP unite and the host PC, including sending alarm and report to PC and getting the command from operator to DSP.
Designed a simple communicate card on host computer's EISA slot and relative driver and software that was used to communication with other PC in the whole system, which was a large optic-electronic system. My responsibilities included drawing the schematic, designing PCB board of the communication card and design the software for the card.
