Michelle, thanks for sharing your personal story, which makes you more closer to us, makes us all to understand more of who you are.
About the death, all I would like to say is nobody deserves dying alone. As long as someone could die with dignity and with company, I guess it doesn't matter where and how people die.
And this reminds me of the touching story of that brave british girl and fallen soldier. Facing the terrorists waving a bloody cleave, this brave girl begged to be allowed staying on the dying soldier's side, because she believed nobody should die alone. That's why most people consider it an honored death dying in bed with their loved ones around.
But, if the dying person chose to fight, this right should never be overridden and a life should never be given up on.
The most terrible death is the one in which a person is dying with tears, knowing that he was given up on. That's one of kind dying alone that nobody would want to be in or witness anybody to be in.
