这个是我在教会里学英语时，那里当地的一个英语老师给我们的关于澳洲当地人口音的英语词汇，现在分享出来，觉得可能对大家有所帮助。

Aussie(Ozzie) -----Australian（这个地球人都知道，呵呵）
Postie       ------Post man
Brekkie       -----Breakfast
Bushie       -----Bushman
Brickie       -----Bricklayer
Chokkie       -----chocolate
Chewie       -----Chewing gum
Chrissie       ------Christmas
Coldie       -----Cold beer
Footy          -----Football
Hottie          -----Hot water bottle
Polly          -----political
Kingdy       -----Kindergarten
Prezzy          -----present
Pozzy          -----position (a good place for a picnic, B.B.Q)
Sunnies       -----sun-glasses
Greenie       -----（上课有点开小差了，英语是怎么说没听见，中文是环保的意思）
Vedgies       -----Vegetables
Rego          -----Registration (for car)
Rellie/relo       -----relative
Maccas       -----McDonalds
U-ie          -----U-turn (开车时的U型拐弯)
Mozzie       -----mosquito
Barbie          -----B.B.Q
Bikkie          ――biscuit

我们一个澳洲老师老是说HOW ARE YA?
应该也是澳洲音吧？

最好能提供一些，同一个单词，澳洲人不同的发音的资料，这样能更加有用。
例如，MATE，澳洲人读MITE。

Greenie may refer to:

Greenie (bird), an Australian lorikeet
Greenie (drug), a psychostimulant drug of the phenethylamine class
Greenie (occupation), one who broadly supports the goals of the environmental movement

这种词很多，大多一看就知道，比如Bikie-->(motor)cyclist. arvo-->afternoon. Vedgies 应该是vegies.

另如birdie是说的bird。想起刚来悉尼时在咖啡店打工，老外说要加equal代糖，听来听去都像/'igual/，结果好半天都没弄明白他的意思。
