A nurse is not qualified to put patient on sedation, only can follow medical orders to do so!

But it's the nurse's accountability to find out why patient is resistant to the ventilator, and then report to the medical staff!

While discussing patients' condition and resultant solution, nurses' opinions and treatment initiatives would be definitely paid with respect by the medical staff. Because nurses have been always on the frontline when it comes to patients' assessments and care management!

ok, thanks, I guess you are able to study to be a doctor or PH D because you can remember so many difficult words. I always forget it-go from this ear and out of that ear.

When a person stays in a career forever, it would be a bit hard to not pick up those medical terms!

BTW, @nil has come up with a new interpretation for PHD, very amusing!

While I was helping my patient today, I accidently bumped into the bed, with my elbow landed on the metal bar.

I immediately started pacing around and groaning, my patient was worried about me:

"Are you ok? What happened to you?"

I just threw my arm around: Oh, Oh, I just hit my funny bone (麻点儿).

She took back her concern straight away: Then, why didn't you sound funny? You should be laughing rather than groaning!

"It seems ages ago when I last saw you, how have you been?"

She applied: "Happy as always! But I just have been trying to keep a low profile (保持低调/降低曝光率)!"

墨菲定律挺有意思的，是一种心理现象，有点越担心越出事的味道

我不迷信这个，既然好和坏全凭概率，那么就是不可预测的，也是不可能有规律的

为什么会出现墨菲定律呢？我的理解是：
1. 选择性记忆-只记住了糟糕的结果
2. 心理预期设置不合理。
3. 心理控制失败必然影响事情的顺利发展


“事情如果有变坏的可能，不管这种可能性有多小，它总会发生”
克服心理问题的话，就会发现，这是强盗逻辑。

In Australia, which group do I desperately wanna keep distance from? The group who claim how much they love China!

Don't get me wrong, all my friends! China is my homeland, I love my homeland! But I hate to stand myself out from the rest of Chinese crowd by constantly showing to the public that love!

Who we are kidding when we claim that?

Sometimes, no matter what topic is introduced, there are always people jumping around showing to the public how patriotic they are!

I had spent 40 years showing my patriotism to my country, now, I would like a break from that, please! Constantly showing that loyalty just  wore me out, I need to be myself from now on!

Please don't measure the rest of us against that patriotism benchmark any more!

Let's talk about how to survive, how to help each other out! Let's not judge how much other people should love China, keep your patriotism to yourself or present that to our lovely China! Not in FreeOz, please!
