经过这几天，我发觉desktop的samsung ssd其实也是可以用在ubuntu的web server上的，当然啦也很应用相关，如果是普通的应用应该和桌面机的工作量类似啦，我是每天都备份数据到其他计算机上的，

反正和我的sas硬盘比，快20倍以上的速度

It has been around 5 months since I first owned a server. I found it is not a big deal to buy a used server. Just treat it like a pc and all the knowledge about pc can apply to server too. The only thing need to be take care is not to buy too old server. Five years old server is ok

I installed fedora on my server and desktop. I got experience with ubuntu and fedora now.

My supermicro server as client test ibm x3650 m3 server as web server using ab tool to do benchmark

I bought a ibm x3650 m2 server 2x l5630 cpu 48gb ram 2x 146gb sas drive for nzd300 yesterday.

I have following devices now

ibm x3650 m3 2xl5620 cpu 48gb ram with a intel x540 T2 10GB network card installed fedora 24
ibm x3650 m2 2xl5630 cpu 48gb ram installed fedora 23
supermicro 2xe5620 cpu 40gb ram install ubuntu 16.04
mac pro desktop x56xx cpu 32gb ram mac os latest version
diy water cooling i7 4770k 32gb ram desktop installed fedora 23

dell 2700w ups

cisco 24 port giga switch
dell 24 port giga switch
dlink 8 port giga switch
dlink 16 port 100mb switch

I bought a dell 2700w for my used server and the experience is great. I thought why not get one for my desktop and I bought manufactured date june 2011 apc ups for nz$50 today. The battery is 18 months old. And I am using it now.

这周才有时间试了一下这块PINE64板子，要先下载一个OS的镜像，再写入SD卡，插入卡槽，结果插电启动没有画面显示，还不知奥什么原因，板上没有指示灯显示启动成功与否，所以暂时还没法更新进度。等我搞定启动部分再发帖分享。

先上两张图，我觉得就15刀的定价来说，这块板子物超所值，可惜就是众筹吸引的用户太多，导致发货速度慢了一些，引起一些投诉。板子的做工还是不错的。

总算折腾起来了，烧了一个android os试了一下，下周试试ubuntu os。之前没启动，主要是写sd卡的软件没有用国人开发的phinexcard。

启动速度有点慢，可能是sd卡读取速度不佳导致。
