砍这种树真的需要批准吗？

前段时间请一个岛民来砍了若干个树，当时问他这些树是否要BCC的批准，他说这些树什么也不是，不要批准，于是砍了。今天看了一下BCC的网站(http://www.brisbane.qld.gov.au/a ... cy-review/index.htm 点击Tree removal and replacement procedure）发现下面的规定。
5. Tree Removal Process
• All trees greater than 500mm trunk diameter measured at 1.4m above ground level (DBH) must be assessed by the Council’s Regional
Arboricultural Co-ordinator (qualified arborists)


我现在发现我们家砍掉的几颗树的围度基本都大于50cm，这会有什么麻烦吗？不会过几年BCC发现我们家的树不见了要罚款吧？但是我估计BCC不可能每年来每家每户量每个树的围度并且记录下来，这是否意味着他们不知道我们的树在砍的时候是超过规定大小的？这样的话，我就不承认树有那么大了。

有人知道这方面的事情吗?

我觉得这个规定指的是council土地上的树，不是指你自己家土地上的树。你仔细研究一下。

围度和diameter是一回事嘛？。。。楼主别搞错了。

谢谢damogao的提醒，BCC好像是测量diameter，50cm的diameter还是很大的树。我剩下的一颗树的girth是81cm。砍掉的树叶差不多大。

我最先搜到一个gold coast city council的规定，是girth大于40cm都要批准，真是太严格了。后来看到BCC的规定里面一个500mm就直接当成是girth了。看来BCC还是很厚道的。我要赶紧在剩下的那棵树长到50cm in diameter之前cut掉。

这里是指自己地盘上的树，bcc地盘上的再小你也不能cut，电话他们来吧。
