Q:
Scientists and the news media are presenting ever more evidence of climate change. Governments cannot be expected to solve this problem. It is the responsibility of individuals to change their lifestyle to prevent further damage.

What are your views?

A:
In the present stage, the human race has entered into the so-called modernization era. Accompanying the tremendous transformation of our working and living style, whilst our habitat environment also faced a crucial challenge. For instance, the widespread of the climate change around the world has already grab lots of eyeballs; the environmental scientists and the vast amount of medium are presenting this phenomenon for a long time. So how to deal with such problems, the government and individuals who should take the responsibility to address this significant issue? In my point of view, the both should combine and twisted together to combat this problem.

Nowadays, there have vast amount of root causes which contribute to the climate change. For instance, the factories who generated host of greenhouse gases and the dominant usage of private cars; therefore, to address such main causes against the climate change, of course, the government should stand out to take the duty to solve the problems. Accordingly, government can make some regulations to restrict such activities.

On the other hand, the individuals also must take the responsibility to combat the global climate change problems. First of all, citizens should change their living style, for example use more eco-friendly energy resources instead of the on-time ones. Secondly, from transportation aspect, if all individuals use more public transportation instead of utilize private cars, that would be very beneficial for our whole environment.

I am of opinion that the government should take the responsibility to engage this problem, so the policy makers need to raise more regulations to prevent such problems, meanwhile the individuals must follow up and act in concert with such guidelines. I believe that, the climate change problem will be mitigated via this approach.
