A类还是G类

我是移民的，但很多人建议我考A类，原因是A类的学习材料多些，而且评分标准比G类低些。

mate, it's true that there are a lot lot more studying materials on the Academic IELTS than on General Training; however, there are two reason for this that you should know:
1. Academic IELTS is a lot more difficult than General Training, especially in Reading and Writing;
2. Many peopel take Academic IELTS to go abroad to study rather than migrating purposes, which represent a much larger market for the selling of related materials.

If you are taking IELTS for migrating purpose, i suggest you take General Training IELTS so that you can get the higher points possible. You can find some practices on General Training IELTS in the latter parts of Cambridge IELTS 1-6, whose first parts are for Academic IELTS. These are among the best IELTS materials in the market.

打算读书的话建议冲A，省的考两次
A评分标准比G低？没听说过，从来都是听说G比A简单

A类的阅读，只要对23个就是6分了，G类的要对30个才能有6分。

try it out, man, u can take A first, and if u r not satisfied with the results, u can always go on take G then. it doesn't cost too much.

or, u can try an exercise on such book as Cambridge IELTS, and see which suits u better...

都知道了标准就好办了，你做做题看看，得到23个正确的A容易还是30个正确的G容易，不就知道该考哪个了嘛

LZ觉得，是做学术研究的语言要求高，还是基本生活交流高？

About A,I did a lot of exercise in reading,I found that is easy for me,actually,my english is not very well...but in final I took G test,then,I feel the test of reading is so difficult,I just got 4.5...so bad,I cant belive that. So I think the A is not more difficult than G just in reading!

really, mate? i got 9 in G reading, but i only got around 7 in A reading exercises...
