Please take a few minutes to see this video. Best speech I've heard for years. This is the spirit  ...

I would have to say this guy hit close to home what has been happening in almost every developed country in their social benefit system.

What a pep talk!

Mazel tov, we found some fundamental principles that we can ground our feet on and root our inspiration from!

However, for me, what got me where I am today came from my instinct of survival rather than anything else (We came from different generation, mate).

During the years gone by, all I had to deal with to get through most of the day was to find something that was edible. This sense of insecurity on surviving pushed me to come to my very consciousness that no pie could fall from the sky or no fruit could hit me in the head, unless I put myself out there and fought as hell to keep my head above the water!

(PS: Here, I have to acknowledge that we did get support from government back then, but, given the vast population and poor government, we only could get enough to not be starved, yet enough to support our growth)

So, over the years, It started growing on me to be persistent, be resilient, be diligent, to a point that it frequently haunts me bad that if I stop fighting, what I have in my life right now is going to slip away from me.

From the background this guy gave out in this clip, I got an impression that he came from pretty much the same generation as me and went through pretty much what my generation did. But, oh God, he came an awful long way to get where he was that finally made him proud!

I wonder why!

He got full muscular limbs and strong heart beats, he made himself a home on a street at certain stage, then crack house....He brought up 7 children in between or after he was disqualified for food stamps? No matter when, I am pretty certain he wouldn't be able to raise those 7 children all on his own (I won't touch on to what extent his wife got involved in this enormous task), the social benefit system would absolutely provide the support in those children's upbringing. You understand much more than I do about how the democratic system works!

So, once a social benefit beneficiary, he should be the last person who is qualified to shed a doubt on this beneficial system. He became independent was because he came to his perfect sense eventually and realized he had to be man up and earn his own decent existence, to set a perfect example for his beloved children how to stand on their own feet. That is all his obligation he is in debt to his children, to his citizenship as a perfectly strong muscular human being. He earned all the credits for himself, he shouldn't credit his current decency to any government at all. Not to Obama administration, certainly not Trump's either.

All he does in this clip is to explain how Trump administration could take a credit for his pre-established decent, much deserved living privileges, to make him out to be an authentic Trump supporter!

Just for argument's sake, bro!

I absolutely would like to take hats off to his hard working and well-earned independence. But, he went a lit bit too far by wearing that Maga cap and gun-toting T-shirt to make his point.

Of course, the Second Amendment entitles Americans to own and bear firearms to guard themselves and keep them safe!

But, are they really safe? Guess the majority of people know the answer!

Now, it crosses my mind that you mentioned the side effect of the medicine! Of course, if people wanted to cure their illness, they will have to put up with what untoward effects come with the medication. But, I have seen so many cases in which the side effects would have killed patients before the medication could ever heal them. Take for instance, Amiodaron, a medication that is supposed to manage arrhythmia. When taking long-term without being closely monitored, It could cause a fatal ventricular arrhythmia that could cause cardiac arrest, if not timely intervened.

That's why doctors have to weigh out the potential benefits against the risk before they can prescribe that particular medication to manage the disease. As a caregiver in the final line to the care-receiver, nurses will have to reassess the patient's current situation and decide whether the patient could have that dose or not no matter what potential benefit the patient could get from that medication. In this case, risk far outranks benefit!

Same scenario could apply to the Second Amendment here. This gun-owning-bearing right amendment created so much serious, daunting problems.

True that every right has to be respected and protected by law. But, while people enjoy their rights, they have to be held accountable for their obligations in the same time. They have to make sure their gun rights don't get abused, they have to make certain, the innocent souls won't be deprived of their basic right to be alive.

Lets ask ourselves: In daily life, how many Americans end up saving their lives from life-threatening situation by executing their right to use their guns? But, how many innocent souls were deprived of their basic right to live because of gun violence? The answer is eloquently self-explaining, isn't it?

So, I came to conclusion that this guy can be a huge fan of the Second Amendment through his own right as an american citizen, but, I am not sure that is appropriate for him to brandish a gun in a public platform, that what his 7 children could take from their role-model dad!

I don't think the gist of that big guy's talk was about the warfare system or giving credit to Trump administration for his personal achievement. What touched me is the personal value which was also one of the bed stones that the US was built upon. But this value has been dimmed by the recent hard left culture revolution. Trump administration was not here to take credit. It's only the symbol the decent working class American people are trying to turn the tide and restore what used to make America a great country. The man supported Trump not because he had anything to do with his success but because they share the same value or least we can say Trump's policies align with his value.

As for the social benefit system did he shed any doubt on it? I didn't see that at all. But what if he did? Anybody is qualified to do that by his rights. Are we for the system? Yes. Can we question the details of it and demand changes? Also yes. The so-called safety net system I would rather it work as a trampoline which get people's back when they are falling but also help them to jump up and stand back on their own feet again. What i don't want to see is this safety net get hijacked by the hardline social justice movement and turn it into a warm bed for parasites who claim themselves as victims based on their skin colours or religion.

2nd Amendment is super super interesting topic. People will argue forever and ever but guess what there will be never overall consensus.

The gun violent casualties is over 30,000 each year. Sounds like a bloody war zone doesn't it? i understand many people see the number and conclusion is almost a nobrainer, get rid of all the guns the meaningless loss of lives will be spared. I used to think that way but not anymore. Believe me it's not that simple.

This issue is very complex. We have to probe it in the context of history. The origin of the gun rights in the US was not even about rights. Let's be real there is no such thing as god given rights in the any holy book saying 'Let men have their guns'. it's out of necessity. American history is unique. Unlike any other old fashion empire is Eurasia continent or any late nation state in Europe America was built on a virgin land purely by the settlers. They needed guns for EVERYTHING. If there were no guns for individuals the US we know wouldn't even exist.

The necessity lasted for over 100 yrs and by then it had already become a right deeply embedded in the culture. One may question the necessity no longer exists and the 2nd Amendment shall be obsolete. Well, just think about it who can de-arm the US? If there were someone it must be the government. BUT to get this job done get 300 million guns confiscated it must be an authoritarian regime which is not possible.

On the other hand is the necessity really gone? Not really. Not like China, the US has small government. You can't have a police state with such a government and such a system. You won't have surveillance cameras all over the place to maintain law and order. You won't have police patrolling around every corner of the city, impossible. But the racial and social complexity within US is similar as China and in some aspects even worse.

So just think about this. If you live in the US and all the guns are gone (in fact bad guys always can find guns) would you really feel safer? I bet you wouldn't. You wouldn't even stand a chance if any attack occurs. I wouldn't go into the details what or who makes you feel unsafe. If you live in the west suburbs of Melbourne or Luton in London you would know.

Myost Europeans couldn't understand Americans' love for guns simply because those countries used to be nation states. The Europeans used over a millennium to kill each other to sort out the mess and got the borders finalized and got the language, culture, way of thinking unified within borders and since then they never had the complexity the US have. But now things have changed. I believe more and more people want their 2nd amendment badly. That's not gonna happen. Totalitarian regime will come back. Let's see.
