I have been watching the American show THE GOOD WIFE and find it so thought provoking. I am happy to jot down whatever pops into my mind, and hope I won't bore you all!

I read the plot summary and watched a few clips in the past but couldn't get into it. Maybe you will spark my interest again.

My favorite shows on this genre are Boston Legal (bright side) and The Practice (dark side). One of my friends will bash Boston Legal on any day for The Good Wife though.

How fabulous is that! It's like backing to uni then, mighty teamwork.
I wish i could join you very soon.
Now i'm going to work harder to catch up with you guys.
Hopefully sometime in the future  I can sit with all of you at the same table to enjoy a cuppa and talking

I find those legal terms hard as well, but I don't mind putting extra time into it! The reason I set my mind on this show is that I can give myself a big push and see if I could make a big leap forward!!!

Sometimes, pressure makes me a bit more motivated! Please keep an eye on me and see how it pans out for me!

Fair enough!

It's where most of the American shows have headed for, isn't it? They drag on and on until the audience get fed up with the stretchy plots!

However, I decided to dance around the tune those play-writers have set up for me!

BTW, what are you putting your mind to? Looking forward to yours!!!

I am watching Franklin and Bash now. I've decided to only watch light funny shows

Problem with The Good wife is that........ what kind of law firm partner would love a woman for decades and take on to her husband even if he is the Attorney General?!! Doesn't make sense... No lawyer would go that far for love...

Alicia Florrick---One of the associates in Lockhart & Gardner, Will's classmate, life-long love from his law school in GeorgeTown

Kalinda Sharma--An in-house (Investigator) in Loackhart & Gardner

Cary Argos---An associate who is in competition with Alicia for one position in Lockhart & Gardner

Peter Florrick--Alicia's husband, a politician who is passionate about the dirty politics

Glen Childs---Peter's long-term political opponent in Cook County

Zach Florrick--Alicia's son, a middle school student

Grace Florrick--Alicia's daughter

Jackie Florrick---Alicia's mother-in-law, who came to rescue for Alicia when everything turned upside down in her family

Started feeling the enormous pressure on my shoulders to kick start this journey! I have realized how hard it will become due to my very limited legal knowledge, but I have determined to embark on this adventure. So, I will endeavor my very best to present you all with my personal understanding (sometimes it could be misunderstanding) and interpretation (It could be misinterpretation as well) of this show.

Peter wanted to try his best to atone for what he had done to his family  赎回他对家庭的伤害

He admitted to his failure of good judgement in his private dealings with the women outside his marriage 承认在他的私生活中未能做出好的判断

We are still emphatically questioning the authenticity of those allegations 强烈地质疑那些指控的真实性

Reflections on Take 1:

I just can't imagine how much more strength Alicia needs to hold her composure not to cry in the public, to channel inside all the anger and frustration she might go through. As a dedicated housewife, whose husband holds a public office and commits the infidelity, she still has to hold her head high in public, hold her husband's hands tight and return to the public in silence that they are united in resilience to defend against whatever worst that might come along!

Even crying a river inside, Alicia is still committed to her role in supporting her husband. I was almost reduced to tears when Alicia was desperate to get rid of a tiny fiber from Peter's suit while he was addressing to the media on his resignation after being accused of abusing his political power and dealing with prostitutes.

Reflections:

Word of advice to all women: Never let your husband run for any office, we reserve our very rights to cry in public, to slap them right across the face in public if they fail to make a sound judgement when it comes to women!
