We are looking for applications from people with the following:
1.       Bachelor of Information Technology or Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Systems/Communications)
2.       2 – 5 years’ experience in a network administration role at an enterprise level
3.       Experience with Cisco & Juniper network equipment - switches, routers and firewalls
4.       Experience with Riverbed WAN optimisation equipment
5.       Experience with network and host based intrusion detection systems
6.       Experience with security audit tools
7.       Experience with Microsoft Windows and UNIX Operating Systems (Linux, Solaris, OpenBSD)
8.       Experience with scripting languages in a UNIX environment (shell, Perl, Python)
9.       Experience with Internet Services (Web Servers (Apache and IIS), E-mail, DNS)
10.   Enjoy working within a team and contributing to a team
11.   Very high standard of oral and written communication
12.   Excellent time management and punctuality
13.   Understand the importance of a customer focus
14.   Strong analytical and problem solving skills
15.   Able to demonstrate ability to solve difficult problems in a time critical environment

This role also requires flexible working hours:
1.       Must be willing to work early (7:00am – 3:30pm) and late shifts (10:30am – 7:00pm) – an hour earlier during daylight saving
2.       Must be willing to work rostered on-call, as well as occasional out of hours and weekend work
3.       Occasional travel is also involved
