As mentioned at recent General Meetings and in Points West, World Maritime Day will be celebrated on Saturday 1st September at ‘B Shed’, Victoria Quay, from 1000 to 1600.
The World Maritime Day theme for 2012 is “One hundred years after the Titanic”. The theme will provide an opportunity to take stock of the developments in maritime safety since that disaster and to examine which areas of ship safety should be given priority in the years to come.
