* Thesis abstract (for PhD, Doctoral and Masters by research awards) endorsed by primary supervisor, where possible. When you provide a certified copy of the thesis abstract, the name of the university and the date of the thesis publication must appear on every page.

ACS回信了。意思好像是如果研究生学位是研究型的，就要论文，已证明你更计算机靠边

            I am writing in order to inquire whether thesis abstract is mandatory when submitting application form for applicants who owns a Master degree in ICT related discipline - Communication and Communication system.
           
             In the PASA applicants guideline, following statement is given. Considering the word of "where possible", can I interpret it as optional instead of mandatory?
           * Thesis abstract (for PhD, Doctoral and Masters by research awards) endorsed by primary supervisor, where possible. When you provide a certified copy of the thesis abstract, the name of the university and the date of the thesis publication must appear on every page.

                Your assistance in this matter will be appreciated.

国内硕士有这个概念吗？

顶，我前几天也发了相关的帖子问这个问题。
我感觉是必须的，但是看到坛子里的帖子说acs除了要这个abstract，还要导师签字，证明论文里有多少是和计算机相关的。。。。感觉这个很无厘头

7.1新政前没有这个要求；至于现在是不是必须，就得求证7.1后申请的人了..
