Hi Samuel – when driving temporarily in Victoria you have to adhere to Victorian road rules and your license conditions. If you have an automatic transmission condition on your QLD licence, you must drive an automatic transmission vehicle while traveling in Victoria.
A letter from your home jurisdiction (QLD) detailing your licence condition(s) must be carried at all times when driving in Victoria.
If you have any further questions, you can email us through the link http://go.vic.gov.au/bSmurm or refer to Victoria Police as the primary enforcement body within this jurisdiction.
