吃BASA fish的请仔细看下

片子没敢看，但自从以前听说这鱼是在越南湄公河长大的之后就基本没有胃口再吃了！

当年去越南旅行到过湄公河，看到那些河水真是惨不忍睹（广州来的同学想想没有治理前的臭水涌吧），当地人却用它来淘米、洗菜等等，还泡在里面打鱼  我本来就有点饮食洁癖，不是很严重的，但当时的情况足以让我完全失去食欲，硬是饿着肚子，直到离开为止

最好只信AU自产的，连新西兰的也别信，前段时间NZ进口很多中国蔬菜，然后卖给澳洲。

“In early 2006, Channel 7's Today Tonight ran two programs depicting appalling growing conditions for aquaculture fish in Vietnam. The footage showed small 'cottage industry' farms growing fish for local consumption, focussing on polluted waterways and drains in urban areas. This is NOT where Basa, sold in Australia, is grown.

Although the reporter stated "this is where your fish and chips comes from", the footage did not represent the region's ultra-modern, multi-billion dollar Basa export industry. Even Food Standards Australia New Zealand described the information in the Today Tonight reports as "unreliable". The ABC's Media Watch has a special section on its website dedicated to misleading reports by the same Today Tonight reporter, titled The 'Sluggo' Files. It's worth a look!”

检测到越南进口的basa确实有检测出残留物，本地产鱼也不例外
56六种残留物检测中，检测出两种（包括孔雀石绿和另外一种Leucomalachite Green），按照检出的量评估风险为很低（very low）

In the case of malachite green, the potential health risks associated with consumption of these fish
have been assessed (see Attachment D). This assessment concluded that on the basis of the toxicity
data and dietary intake data available to FSANZ, the health risk from the consumption of malachite
green residues in fish is very low.

真相远比上面视频说的复杂的多，2003年美国立法，从此从越南进口的catfish不能被叫做catfish，而被迫改叫做bassa（相关利益团体想借此来削弱越南的catfish的市场份额）。但是这并没有起效（可能是起了反作用），2008年时相关利益团体又要游说说越南的bassa不能叫bassa应该叫catfish。利益团体游说将进口bassa的监管权从FDA转到农业部--以此来提高进口门槛等。
2010年CFA（Catfish Farmers of America）打广告攻击越南bassa，NTI（ National Fisheries Institute ）则回应说广告内容不全面和伪善。

如果BASSA存在如lz转发视频那样多的问题，这么长时间相关利益团体还是不能把事情弄大弄到禁止进口等简直是令人难于置信。反过来，问题真的有这么多吗？BASSA确实竞争力太强了，我注意到过多次，woolworth最先卖完的鱼就是bassa一种。

淘米洗菜是很正常的, 會增加水中的有機物,使水裏的各種生物繁殖和成長變多變快, 主要問題還是在於各種無機物(重金屬)和抗生素的添加殘留. 如果澳洲入口的檢疫沒問題, 低於允許的水平, 那就應該沒很大問題.
