西澳驾驶法规修改了！！！

以前是pr拿中国驾照在西澳只能开3个月，tr可以无限期持中国驾照驾驶。

现在无论pr和tr都只能持中国驾照开3个月了。

老实说，这其实是补上了一个漏洞。

我一直就觉得不合理，海外留学生竟然持着国外驾照开2-3年的车。
交规不熟，危险驾驶，我就一直认为这漏洞应该补上-----
太好了！

If you are a visitor to Western Australia (WA), you may drive on your overseas licence, for as long as it remains valid in the country of issue. If your overseas licence ceases to be valid, you must apply for a WA licence if you wish to continue driving. If you intend to become a resident, or you have entered WA on a permanent resident visa, you will need to apply for a WA driver’s licence

太好了。。。

不过，好像这个政策对某些人，无所谓。
我认识一个比较爱吹牛的小抠，他没驾照，开车也比较不守规矩，就一直开车，说警察抓到，就说驾照没带，然后顶多被罚200元。。。哎，马路杀手啊。

其中一句话：如果你成为居民（指三个月以上）或持有永居VISA，即需依法取得WA驾照驾驶。

这一句话的解读是否为：居住三个月以上视为居民，需有WA驾照？

有其他了解的朋友吗？或是有Licensing Centre 的解释？

我在国内驾龄10年并且是每天都在开着的，但在澳我从新考取，我觉得这样对自己对别人都好。

楼主搞错了吧。我google了下你说的这个修正案，不是你说的那个意思，是关于PR的。
说原来WA的规定是，拿到PR后只能持国外驾照开3个月，即3个月从PR准签开始算，而不是从登陆澳洲开始算。
然后鉴于有不少人PR准签后3个月之内还没登陆澳洲的（即等他们登陆的时候却已经不能持海外驾照开车了），所以提出修正案，结果是：
拿到PR的人可以继续使用国外驾照，从拿到PR后考虑长期居住WA（即登陆WA）开始算起。
