我特意查了我们加的保险, 是保了FLOOD的:
Your home is your most important asset. Secure™ Home Extra Insurance policy provides cover for a range of insured events to protect your home and contents, along with $20 million legal liability cover.
The policy includes cover for damage or loss caused by:- storm, lightning or earthquake
- rain, flood or fire^
- riot or civil commotion
- malicious acts, theft or attempted theft
- collision, falling trees or branches
- accidental escape of liquid (for example from washing machines, toilets or hot water systems)
- accidental glass breakage, and
- electrical motor burnout.
FLOOD定义:
“flood” means the complete covering of normally dry land by any water:
1. escaping or released from the normal borders of:
1.1 any lake or natural watercourse, whether or not altered or modified, or
1.2 any reservoir, canal, dam, or stormwater channel, or
2. that, because of water that has already escaped or been released, cannot enter:
2.1 any lake or natural watercourse, or
2.2 any reservoir, canal, dam or stormwater channel. |
