Q: Have you ever worked at a call center? (It would be good if you have had experience; if you haven't, make sure to say so, but also tell them why you want to work at a call center. Don't say because you need a job/money; you can say something like "I have never worked at a call center, but I want to because I want to have a career in customer service.")
Q: Describe a problematic experience you faced while working at a call center and tell me how you resolved it. (Tell interviewer about a problem you encountered and how you used your genius to fix it)
Q: Do you consider customer service to be a priority? (Yes, and explain why)
Q: Why did you leave your last job at a call center? (A good reasonable explanation why you left would help; hopefully you weren't fired)
Q: Why do you want to work at this call center? (This is a good time to kiss up and impress them with how much you know about the company)
Q: Why should we hire you? (Remind them of your experience or aspirations, emphasize your strengths and what you would bring to the table if you were hired)
Q: What are some of your weaknesses? (Choose your weaknesses wisely; don't say that you procrastinate or are lazy or have a bad temper or anything negative. Pick a CAREER SKILL that you aren't strong/experienced in, but let them know it is something you are working on improving. A good example is, "I am not strong at making presentations to a group of people; I am working on developing this skill however and I believe it is something that I can manage if I am ever called upon to train a group of incoming new hires")
Whenever the questions end, it always helps to have some questions of your own, such as, "What kind of training will be provided to me?" "Do you offer flexible scheduling?" "What is the career path for a call center representative?" "Who will I report to/work with?" , etc, or whatever questions you think are appropriate for your situation.
You will never know all of the questions that will be asked but it is good to be prepared, and it does help to think about how you will answer common interview questions. Be honest too, because they may verify some of the things you represent. Good luck. |
