Is sex really better when it's with someone you love? What do you think?
==================================================================
Do you think sex is really better when feelings and connection are involved? Is it really much more intense when it's with someone you love?
Or do you think it's just hearsay but you find O.N.S./casual sex just as great? Interested in your answers.

I think sex is special when you do it with someone you want to do it with, and this one can be someone you love or someone you lust for.
That's why we use different terms to call this: have sex, and make love. It's like a purely physical thing, well, you many still get an orgasm, however, with someone you lust/love/have feelings for sex can be very emotional. I knew this from my own experience.
Not necessarily wait until you meet someone you love, but at least only have sex with someone who you feel attractive to.

Sometimes it can be worse with someone you love, but generally when it is good with someone you love it's miles above the rest

different levels .... causal (out side of the relationship) is exciting ... within the relationship it is very different as there is more mental attachment .... There is a big difference between LOVE & SEX. We have been togeher for 14 years and we have figured it out for US - Not everyone is this way .... want more freedom or want more commitment. It IS different for everyone....... THAT'S fdor sure. We are LIFE PARTNERS and share the ups, downs & dramas ....BUT are best friends at the end....

I think sex is best when all inhibitions are shed and when you can express your inner most desires and fantasies to your partner. For me this comes with love and trust. Keeping sex interesting and spontaneous in a monogamous relationship is definitely a challenge though but not impossible.
At the end of the day sex is sex and love is love. Some people have amazing casual sex apparently (I never did) and some people prefer love to be part of the equation.

That sounds pretty sad! Though it's hard to believe (that sex is only with yourself now) for somebody who's had over 400 men! :p

I think it's a different kind of sex with the one you love. It goes beyond just physical and is more emotionally connected. Casual sex is more physical and lust driven. They both have their pro's and con's.

I was also under the assumption that it was better with a partner cause you have had the opportunity to practice on each other. You know what is good for you both.

Sex is gratification....
whereas love is a more meaningful expression between two people who care about each other

Having casual sex can be exciting because it's different people and different experiences, but i think sex with a long-term partner will always be better in the long run. With a partner you have much more time to learn what each other like and try out all kinds of dark and dirty stuff you might hide from one-nighters. And then aside from the better "raw" sex you get with your partner, you also get to make love too, which there really is no substitute for.

From my experience - definately better with the bf - we know what each other likes and how to get there. There's a much better connection and freedom to explore more avenues. Plus it saves on having to go out and look for it. |
