Olympic silver medallist Scott Miller has pleaded not guilty to drug charges in a Sydney court.

Miller briefly faced Manly Local Court today, where he pleaded not guilty to possessing a tablet press, possessing a prohibited weapon, and two counts of possessing a restricted substance.

The 33-year-old former swimmer was charged on April 16 after a raid on a storage unit at Brookvale, on Sydney's northern beaches, which allegedly uncovered a tablet press capable of producing 27,000 pills an hour and a professional tablet counter.

It is alleged police also seized capsicum spray, the anabolic steroid stanozolol and Stilnox sleeping tablets obtained without a prescription, from Miller's Dee Why unit.

Miller, who was dressed in a black suit and appeared relaxed in court, told reporters outside, "I'm feeling very calm''.

At the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, he won a silver medal in the 100m butterfly and a bronze in the men's medley relay.
