Citibank is good because of its special offer, no annual fee forever, and also give you reward as well.. it is good
Basically you can use your credit card for purchase or cash in advance.
purchase, pay for the goods and service using the card, and the balance is payable after you receive the statement. The bank charges you interest if you fail to pay off the balance in full after the due date.
cash in advance, taking cash out from the ATM - it attracts a higher interest rate, and it is effective immediately.
So two things you should do when using a credit card
1. never draw cash in advance,
2. Pay off the balance in full every time
If you do that, then you dont need to worry about the interest rate.
What type of credit card depends on your income. If you can, get a Citibank Gold card with anual fee free, as you will have free travel insurance..
Not sure if that is still available? but you can try...
