有没有小孩在澳洲已经开始上小学的TZ介绍一下在那里小朋友都学些什么?

由于看到许多TZ都说澳洲的小学很宽松,想再了解的详细一下,那里的小学到底学些什么东西?
自己不崇尚国内的填鸭式教育,但认为如果一位的只注重孩子自己在玩中学也是不行的.对于小孩子,适量的基础教育必不可少.

有没有小孩在澳洲已经开始上小学的TZ介绍一下在那里小朋友上学都学些什么? 是不是有必要带中国的小学课本去给孩子补充?

这里基本上什么都不学,主要是玩,
小学语文课本建议带上

不过据我所知，很多华人家长都送孩子参加补习班。想上好大学好专业还是要下一些课外功夫的。这边有三大族裔都有开自己的补习班，华人，犹太人和印度人。

别说小学生了，好像中学生下午三点多就放学了

我孩子9岁 来到这里 插入3-4年级班

教室里有5台电脑 好像没有黑板  墙上是些课程表之类的东西
孩子虽然在国内英语成绩不错 但老师小朋友们的讲话简直无法听懂，但这里的孩子和老师
都很好客，孩子基本上通过手语，玩游戏度过了大概两星期。
孩子每天都很快乐。上周孩子在全校表彰会上得到了校长亲自颁发的奖状，孩子很是高兴，只见奖状上写着“xx同学在校非常快乐，特此表彰”  足见该校的老师为维护孩子的学习兴趣，煞费苦心。

每天8：50前到校 自带午茶 自带午饭 下午3：30接回家
回家无作业。

俺家孩子学会了做巧克力，蛋糕，数学全靠以前在国内学得了，我有一个朋友的孩子在学校有一门课是织毛线，小家伙织了两个多星期了，织了好长的一个围巾啊，还没织完，据说得这周完工．　呵呵，真不知道这儿的小孩天天在学什么，　下周家长会，问问他们老师．

learning from playing.
today we did lessons on the dragon boat day and we cooked zong zi (pyramid-shaped rice dumplings/buns with red bean fillings wrapped by bamboo/lotus leaves -_-, the name itself has been pretty intriguing to local kids) would a teacher in china spend a whole day talking about food? hardly..so take it easy and be happy with your kids' schooling in australia.
btw, no homework until high school years.

parents should prepare for morning tea and lunch box for kids. canteens are available for medium-size + schools. kids usually have daily fitness class and free playing time everyday. no homework and exams for primary kids. (there maybe some mini quizes for fun). subject matter is much easier than chinese schooling - learn multiple and division from year 3/4, learn decimal from year 4/5. do heaps of drawing, painting, scrapping, singing, role playing....kids benifit from these exprience, and learn many other skills such as cooperation and perseverance. really POSITIVE to kids' overall development. my suggestion is that choose a nice public school (if you're a budget parent at the moment), talk to the principal, and leave the rest to the school. don't be fussy about kids' so-called academic progress. as kids they will learn how-to-learn skills and will pick up things fairly quickly in due time when they feel the need to seriously learn those stuff. kids are kids, don't give them a hard time..

问题是更怕小时候不HAPPY,长大了还是不HAPPY,甚至不知道怎么让自己HAPPY.

在学习中玩，在玩中学习。。。这是我个人对澳洲教育得体会。。。

我表弟学校的家长才搞呢，他们升year 4的时候，学校开家长会，老师说，学的东西要难了（其实很简单），问家长是不是要多布置点作业。那些个老外家长居然都反对，理由是，作业多了，孩子回家压力太大，会太stress的，这样心情会不好的，所以让老师不要布置作业。
