请教在Sydney的同志有关租房的问题

我和老公将于6月去Sydney长登.
想在Ashfile or Strainsfield租一室一厅,一般要多少钱啊?250/PW够吗?
房子的情况怎么样啊?稍微离Train近点的.

ashfield的房子要便宜一些。

LZ的情况，可能只能和别人share了，自己去agent那里租房比较困难，而且周期比较长。

如果是share的话，一个房间$180－$200一周左右。

我在Realestate上面看,有1室1厅的房子,大概从200--250不等.
找楼上的说法是不能租到的了?

realestate上面的房子都是agent的房子，也就是说需要经历：
（1）inspection。看房，房子一定要看过才能租。通常只有礼拜六能够看房。
（2）application。交申请表，提供个人资料
（3）agent确认租给谁。
（4）入住。要等到房子弄好了。

不是几天能办好的。。。。

share就没有这么麻烦了。

因为已经有TZ走过了上面的过程，然后他们再转租。

所以初次登陆，建议share的好。

已经又去看过论坛了,看来初来咋到的都是从Share开始的,然后才开始慢慢找好的房子住.
还有是不是租房子要找担保人啊?什么样的人才能做担保人呢? 我有同学,同事(是老外)在哪里,可以吗?

现在租房很紧张，基本上都是要靠关系或者提高价钱。

租房需要什么帐号啊? 银行帐号吗?

租房需要你的身份证明，比如：
（1）passport
（2）drive license
（3）银行帐号
不同agent的要求不同（可能有的agent都不要），目的就是证明你是在澳洲合法呆着的。

而且这些身份证明也不是每个都要，而是不同证件有不同的分数，总分够就可以了。比如driver license的分数就特别高。

strathfield property rental is always more expensive than ashfield's, cause strathfiels's railway station is the 2nd big station follows central station. every direction train must stop in strathfield and if you take fast train to city (china town) onlty take you 15 min. and there re many shopping and restaurant facilities around strathfield. specially korean shop, coffee shop and chinese seafood restaurant.
ashfield gets many chinese groceries and little take away restaurants there.they re shanghaiese style and the food quality is just soso.
1 bedroom unit in strathfield is around $150-200per week, 2bedroom unit $280-320. the unit interior is not so good ,due to there re strong need from the tennants and the unit owner unnecessary to do the decoration. a good quality 2 bedroom unit or apartment should be $370-420 weekly.
ashfield shopping close about 7pm and strathfield's usually close at 12 midnight.
ashfield is only ashfield. strathfield has itself, and Burwood, Flemington, olympic park, parramatta all around strathfield close.
in ranking of suburb, strathfield is always higher than ashfield.

one more tip for your unit rent, it's better no tell the real estate agent you re new comers.the real estate staff not prefer the new arriver because they think you have no record. remember, a employee's letter shows you have a full time,stable job is much better than your rich bank statement or even though you promise you can pay the lumsum rental fee in the contract period.

还是请大家推荐几个离市区近而且有安全的区吧.
因为刚去是不可能马上买车的,所以离火车近是很重用的,出去办事,上课,面试.
看了下,好象domain的房子比realestate的要多很多,价格也低点.
租房的价格在250至280以下,都能接受的.
安全第一嘛.
还有就是租房的话, 有公民给我做担保能比较快租到房子吗?

ASHFIELD有很多小偷的。还有你自己要租的话，有点困难。现在悉尼的租房市场很火爆，租价在涨。房屋中介根本不愁租不出去。对于新移民，要和别人竟争有点不占优势。建议先和别人SHARE吧。

但是就是入室盗窃很厉害
