Upon her husband's death, she's not only inherited his fortune also finds/re-discover? her true love in the end. The couple were set apart once upon a time for whatever the reasons were. The important point to address is they now find each other again.The story of itself is nothing new but a tale of seizing the second chance in life.
The conduction by Franz Lehar, an Austro-Hungarian composer, was a great hit at its time specifically in its music and the theatre effect. It has become popular since then.
