(1) On average, Sydney houses are taking 30 days to sell, while units are now taking 24 days, compared to 55 days and 50 days respectively a year ago.

(2) Over the past five years Sydney values have increased by 37.6 per cent. Over the 15 years to January 2014, Sydney home values have increased at a compounding annual rate of 6.4 per cent.

2. 布里斯班
(1) On average, Brisbane houses are taking 47 days to sell and units are taking 49 days compared to 68 days and 76 days respectively a year ago.
平均來看,一年前布里斯班住宅需要68天時間售出,現在需要47天;而公寓房一年前需要76天,現在只需要49天就可以售出。
(2) Brisbane home values have increased at a compounded annual rate of 7.9 per cent over the past 15 years.
截止到2014年1月,在過往的15年裡,布里斯班房屋以平均每年7.9%的速度增長。
需要提醒投資者的是,悉尼相對於布里斯班房價在投入成本更高一些。我們不妨看一下RP Data給出的另外一組數據:
For Sydney, the median unit price is $550,500.
For Brisbane, the median unit price is $395,000.
悉尼公寓房中價位是55萬5百,而布里斯班公寓房中價位是39萬5千。所以,在投資者資金有限的情況下,可以首先考慮投資布里斯班。若資金相對雄厚的話,為了規避市場風險,可以進行分散投資,這個時候也可以投資悉尼市場。
