技术移民专业求指导：植物学专业申请农业科学家靠谱吗？

本科专业生物学，博士专业植物学，现在已经在研究所工作7年，做植物分子生物学研究，具体来说就是研究基因如何影响和决定水稻的产量，自己觉得符合234112 农业科学家中“Studies commercial plants to enhance the productivity of agricultural industries.”研究经济作物以提高产量这一职责描述。但做的研究实际上比较理论，目前不太可能应用到农业生产中，有研究论文发表。自己年龄已经35岁了，算了下，如果雅思能考到7，能够60分，求大神们帮忙，看看以农业科学家申请靠谱吗? 在此谢谢了！

谢谢建议！不知道农业科学家是不是比较冷门，60分就够了？
这个tasks职责描述，我也仔细看过，第一条collecting and analysing data and samples of produce, feed, soil and other factors affecting production算是我现在的工作所涉及的，具体来说，分析过基因这个factor对产量的影响，但其他工作目前我基本都没有涉及过，这就是我所担心的，怕自己的专业并不符合农业科学家。

这组有三个职业，你把 consultant和forester的相关职责都去掉就是scientist的职责了。
职责的话，能靠上去就靠上去。这部分除非有特别说明，否则一般不会卡人。关键是学历。最近VET negative的全都是A组学历不相关的。
农学家担保的州好几个呢。LZ好好研究下州担保的list先~这个职业大冷门，60足够足够了。
如果是PHD可以考虑走vic担保，一般不拒博士。不过LZ已经毕业7年，不能走他的博士绿色通道了。可能获得邀请的时间会比较长~

对了，puyuewuyue，你说的“学历不相关”，是说博士学位的专业与职业不相关吗？那植物学这个专业算不算与农业科学家相关的呢？

这个问题可以分两部分来解释：
1.VET你如果同时提供本科和博士，他会认证你的本科，如果需要认证博士需要另外做pta选海外phd认证，多350刀；
2.本科学历是否相关是看学科的，4年本科的话课程和专业有25%符合就认为是紧密相关；

个人认为没有必要做pta，因为你phd的学历加分和专业是否相关没关系。做个CQV就可以啦~
vic州担保上有写phd需要评估机构认证，这个比较tricky，可以理解是CQV认证了就行，也可以理解为需要相关性。我为了保险起见做了PTA去走他的phd绿色通道。你可以自己判断一下有没有必要做~~

我来回答lz的问题，有不少人也咨询过我类似的经历，在我指导下都成功通过

生物学的学历不需要提供，提供植物学的学历申请农业科学家就行，硕士博士最好能描述下论文往农业上靠，职责的话如果是实际做的植物分子内容多，就弱化具体做的分子方面内容，往实际对农业的意义上靠
