no school is a good school at the moment. The work environment within the school is overly competitive to an extent where the children are very rude and inconsiderate to each other. Bullying is a common issue right now. There were some friends of my daughter who were particularly nasty to another friend of hers. Why? The reason is actually rather stupid, as it was because she had cheated in ONE SMALL MARK. even if she hadn't received that mark, her position in the school would have remained the same, however, they were very ignorant and sensitive and were extremely mean to her. giving snide comments and pushing her around, even spreading horrid rumours about her. This was really immature of them, and they even aren't as clever as her. No other schools are any better. Another friend of my daughter left the school to attend a top public school in the state, but became extremely depressed afterwards. girls would judge every little thing she did and they called her fat when she isn't. a lot of girls wrote rude messages to her and stole her shoes in PE because they were 'too ugly to look at'. so what im saying is that no matter which school you send your child to, be prepared for a whole wave of drama, and to have the patience of a saint to guide and comfort your children. Schools are always filled with nauseating people. School life is stressful for a teenager. that's all. |
