Today, I finally, have finished reading and remembering all the words from《新东方雅思词汇》, altogether 4000+ words, 2000+ collected in my word brochure, which takes me 6 months since April.
This is my first time to complete a vocabulary book, which is even an e-book not a real book. I bought a lot of v books when I was a student. I even could not finish 'A' word part before. Today, I succeed.
Surely, I should be happy to achieve this feat, but I cannot. I feel it is still a long way to reach 7*4 after seeing so many failures and attempts made by other people.
Another bad news for ICT applicants, for State NT, I think they require job offer now for overseas ICT applicants. I guess this rule is added recently as I have traced the website for some time. So the last door is almost closed for 261313 applicants with 55 points and 4*6. I am sad. Now, only one way left

台湾人来大陆？看来都是围城啊。

台湾人来大陆对于他们没什么不好的，他们又没有房子可以被强拆，台胞身份也相当于一把政治保护伞，警察也不敢随便就拘留他们。在大陆，只有土生大陆穷人是最卑贱的。

我覺得IELTS跟真實的英語能力是相關的，要取得高分有賴於長時間的運用英語。
我只能分享一些個人的淺見。

Nonetheless, my 4*7 life goes on. I cannot give up as I have already given up so many things for 4*7, even if I am tired, even if I need to take care of my daughter at mid-night, even if I need OT for my work.
Though target is still far away, at least I have a dream and fight for it.

你隔半年才再考，我觉得拖得有点长。2-3个月考一次，可以让你及时总结经验，调整方向。

我实力没到，刷雅思没有用的，像你有这个实力，连续考有用，重复小概率事件，终会变成大概率。等我准备好了也逃不了一月一刷的命运

我老公和你准备时间差不多，但是他还没去考过，他说考了浪费钱，最近开始准备口语了，要找教练了

Bad news is that I messed up in the test on Dec, 7th. I guess I even can not reach band 7 for ACADEMIC reading. I have changed all my following tests to GENERAL. Wish I could have a good luck.

雅思成绩确实牛。
大陆只是挣钱机会挺多的，除此之外也是没有啥了。
想要好的生活环境，还是离开好点。

LZ的情况和我差不多的。明年5月我就满32岁了。目前还是想赶在那之前成功。
自己觉得不容易4x7，所以就让lp帮忙考个4x6，这样可以加5分。

对了，LZ为什么不试试州担保？

州担保要4x7么？好像只有维州的是要求4x7吧，NSW是要求4x6，南澳要求4x6.5,是不是这样的？

你还是认真研究下各州的官网吧，不要仅仅关注论坛。对于我261313来说，NSW从8月就暂停了，SA在9月份打开过2天就close了，NT需要job offer，对于我的职业来说，想要这个财年拿visa，只有4x7，要么等下个财年重新打开。不同职业，情况千差万别。我也吃过只知道埋头读书的，不关心信息的苦头，所以才导致雅思很早就考出来，评估却刚刚拿到，如果我知道应该先做评估的话，就不会错过NSW的末班车了。

我也是261313，之前没仔细研究过州担保，现在看来机会很小啊。苦逼啊。

2nd, academic result, L8, R7.5,W5.5,S6
I suspect they did adjustment for reading band, for example, 30 correct answers can get band 7.5. Reading on Dec 7th was far more difficult than the one on July, 27th. I finished the test on July,27th in 45 minutes. By contrast, I fought until the last minute on Dec 7th. I could not find direct answers for 10+ questions in the articles and just followed my feeling to answer them. At that time, I was desperate and thought I could get band 7 for reading.
After the attack in reading, I totally messed up in writing, so I deserve the band.
It is not surprising to get band 6 again for speaking as I spent less time on it.
Nevertheless, life goes on and I'd say good-bye to A test. I will take G test from January. Wish I would have a better luck.

没有所谓难易，只有适合和不适合。

楼主跟我的考试时间一模一样，我也约了3雅1.18。悲催的是还是没有过7的希望。口语始终不上6，尽管所有的时间都花在口语，其它都是裸考= =。

3rd IELTS, (G) , L:7.5, R: 7, W:6.5, S:6.0, 口语没准备band 6，我也就认了。花了大把时间，搞作文，学习研究北北的ABC和词伙+ 每天一篇大小作文。绝对不止6.5，准备复议
