Checked a used car today, everything seems to be OK. Just one question left,
The car is 6 years old, and the owner moved to present address about 6 years and they don't have any garage or carport at all. This means the car was always parked on the driveway or roadside, with no any shield etc.
Could this have over aged some parts especially leather seats already though it looks fine at km less 60,000?
you could be wait for a while like 3 weeks later to make your final decision since the ad was just list one wk ago, and I do not think you need this car so hurry.
No one would like to cheat/fraud, but they could lie, such as:
I: Has it encountered any issues in the past? I saw many people complain AC etc on Internet.
Owner: No, I think we're lucky!
This could be a lie on this and I would never be able to figure out.
The car was made in Oct 2006 and has been on road 6.5 years since Jan 2007.
The average mileage is just below 10,000Km/year, it's kind of reasonable as they've been living in Kew since she owned this car.
During the test drive, the owner's husband was with us and did not know how to operate the cruise control. This is kind of exaggerated to prove what they advertised - single female owner.
They had a BWM parked on the drive way, and another new Holden Cruze parked on the street, and explained they wanted to sell this territory to downsize.
