这个不知道是不是本地英语。

今天email里面看到有人用了这个词。学习一下。当时语景，应该是oral examination的意思。

邮件使用情境，是不是指高校毕业答辩那类呢？

是类似于期末考试，不是答辩那一种的。不过对方可能是用答辩来做类比也说不定。

我在中学还没有听人说过，
看维基上的第三条解释，是用在高校里的，如果不是毕业答辩的话，
也是高校有师生互动那种口语考试。

是差不多是那种“师生互动那种口语考试”。
应该说是口头，不是口语。
