About our Client
A specialist consultancy, this company has gained a reputation of consistently adding value to their clients' projects. A recent project win has created the need to bring an experienced Civil Engineer onto the team to lead the civil infrastructure planning portion of a conceptual study for a potential coal mine.
Job Description
As the Civil Engineer you will be responsible for:
Providing high level engineering design and planning for a conceptual mining study
Estimating bulk earthworks, drainage, conveyor system and road costs
Working with the project team to evaluate water management and mine planning alternatives
The Successful Applicant
To be considered for the role you will possess the following:
Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant discipline
Significant experience in mine development, with conceptual and pre-feasibility phase experience highly regarded
Ability to work autonomously and provide real insight into civil mine infrastructure options
