Wine Marketing Internship – China
Jarressa Estate Wines, one of Australia's largest and most consistently awarded wine companies has a wonderful opportunity for some Interns to join its dynamic sales force servicing one of our most fast growing oversea market in China – Office Locate in Burwood Sydney.
Reporting to the NSW / ACT State Manager you will play an integral role in the continued growth of the company's prestigious portfolio within the on premise, retail and national accounts in the designated territory.
Key Tasks
To implement the company's sales and marketing strategies and to achieve its strategic business objectives in fast growing China Region.
To achieve annual sales budgets and profit margins for the company's branded wine portfolio.
Develop strong business relationships with existing and new accounts and so provide a resource which will achieve win/win results for all parties.
Reporting to Jarressa Estate's NSW-based Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:
Implementing strategies to building strong relationships with current and new accounts.
Regularly monitoring sales results against budget and inventory; initiating the action required to rectify adverse trends.
Planning and implementing consumer and trade promotions, tastings and events; monitoring and leveraging their effectiveness.
Reporting on your activities as well as competitor and trade activity.
Developing and maintaining a high level of communications with all levels of the key accounts
Identifying opportunities to improve the economy, efficiency and effectiveness of the sales operations in your territory.
Planning and implementing promotional tastings and events.
Keeping up to date with wine industry trends, especially in the Retail and On-premise sectors.
General Responsibilities
The Person
To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate:
An excellent level of presentation with strong verbal and written communications skills
Self motivation, independence and entrepreneurship, with enthusiasm and a determination to succeed.
A successful track record in branded wine sales, preferably with a good knowledge of the NSW Central Coast market.
A consistent approach, yet be able to adapt and show flexibility.
Excellent organization, planning and time management skills.
