关于提交1023表修改护照号，修改原因的措辞和语法

我在前面的帖子中提到过，女儿的护照号还没有，为了赶在7.1之前提交申请，因此就随便填写了一个护照号，然后准备用1023表修改护照号码；
对于修改信息心里比较忐忑，所以请TX们参谋参谋如下修改原因的措辞和语法是否可行；

When I was filling the application form, XXX (my daughter)’s passport was in the application process, local police officer told me that her passport could be granted a month later. Because all my other application materials had been prepared, my family and I decided to submit the application firstly and then modify the information as soon as my daughter’s passport is granted.

你应该填1022表吧，你确定是1023表？
I would like to update my daughter's passport information in the following:
Name: XXX
DOB: XX/XX/XXXX
Passport No.: GXXXXXXXX;
issue date:XX/XX/XXXX;
expire date:XX/XX/XXXX;
issue organization: Exit and Entry Administration of Ministry of Public Security

The reason for fail to provide her passport information in application form was as follows:

During completing our application form, my daughter‘s passport application was being processed by local Exit and Entry Administration. The case officer informed me that her passport would be issued within one month. Therefore, I and my wife decided to lodge our application without my daughter's passport information, and we would update this information as soon as we receive her passport. That was because we were afraid our case will be affected by the new points test rule effective then. Additionally, at that moment every single document involved in our application is ready to go except for my daughter's passport.
