Nomination by State/Territory governmentState and Territory governments may nominate visa applicants whohave an occupation that is in shortage in their particular State orTerritory. It may be useful for you to check the websites of each Stateor Territory government to see if your occupation is on their skillsshortage list. If it is, then you could contact that State or Territorygovernment. State and Territory governments will also be able toprovide you with information relating to employment, housing andschools in the region you may wish to live in.
Participating State and Territory governments for this visa are:

Nomination from a State or Territory government does notautomatically result in the grant of a visa. Your application must alsobe assessed by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship against anumber of visa-specific requirements. You will only be granted a visaif all requirements are met.
