Last month I found a chance for work placement. But because my poor English skills, I fail. So I decided to keep dictating VOA Special English every day. Up to now I have lasted 3 weeks, but I do not look at obvious improvement. I nearly lost my confidence to learen English. Please, who could give me a method to develop my English. Thanks a lot.

Listening to the local news on radio, keep watching the programs on TV.
That's the way I improve my English. I am also a huge fan of American TV shows!
Well after all, all I have just mentioned above wasn't all learning progress, but full of joy.

Try to make your leanring proess more joyful, e.g. watching English-speaking TV series, making English-specaking friends etc.
There is no shortcut in leaning a language.
