ACS从2010年2月1日起开始用新表格啦！

前几天看还纳闷为什么general类别的近年有更新而RPL的仍然沿用06年的表格，然后。。。。杯具就发生了！

2月1日开始ACS用新的表格了，general的看似没有多大区别，RPL的表格，放眼望去那个乱啊，。。。。。。。。细化了很多地方，单单blank form就浩浩荡荡达19页之多，估计填完了怎么也得30页吧！

对比了一下新旧PASA Guidelines，2231-79处，感觉有点怕怕的。。。。。。从第六个classification开始被拦腰砍掉了。。。。

建议大家没递交的赶紧适应新表格，多余的材料递交了也貌似会被退回的。

已经递交的不受影响，2月1日以后的就需要用新的guideline来衡量并且填写新的表格进行申请。

:简单对比了下，group和要求好像没变，高需求2231-79的occupations只剩下原来的前5个，MODL还没变呢，ACS先行了，还有，貌似推荐信要公证了，再次赞一下ACS的IT高人炮制的表格，琳琅满目啊

        Verifiable statements from your employers to support all your employment as IT (Computing) professional.
Important: Hardware assembly, cabling and repair; computer operating; data entry and/or coding; clerical/administrative interaction with computer applications, etc. are not regarded as IT (Computing) professional level employment.

Statements must be dated, signed by your employer or a person authorised by your employer (the name, position and contact details of the person making the statement must be clearly indicated) and must include details of the exact periods of employment and a full and detailed description of the nature and content of your work. Where possible, statements should be on company letterhead.

1.2.        Where past education providers and/or employers no longer exist and you need this information for your application, you may submit a personal statement on a properly signed and witnessed Statutory Declaration.  The Statutory Declaration is to detail as a minimum:


Important: If you provide a Statutory Declaration with your application, you must also provide some form of corroborative information from a third party for the claims made in the Statutory Declaration.
        the reason/s why you are submitting a Statutory Declaration; and
        all the necessary detail about your education and/or employment.

1.3.        If you are reluctant to approach your current employer for a statement of service that you need for your application, you may submit a personal statement on a properly signed and witnessed Statutory Declaration. The Statutory Declaration is to detail as a minimum:

        the reason/s why you are submitting a Statutory Declaration; and
        all the necessary detail about your employment experience.


Important: If you provide a Statutory Declaration with your application, you must also provide some form of corroborative information from a third party for the claims made in the Statutory Declaration.

1.4.        You may submit a reference from your colleague who occupies or has occupied a higher position than you, within the organisation you were employed at, on a properly signed and witnessed Statutory Declaration. The Statutory Declaration is to detail as a minimum:

        the reason/s why your colleague is submitting a Statutory Declaration and
        all the necessary detail about your employment experience.

Important: If you provide a Statutory Declaration with your application, you must also provide some form of corroborative information from a third party for the claims made in the Statutory Declaration.

In this case, you must provide an organisation chart showing upward and downward reporting relationships. All titles must be included. The organisation chart must be verified by your colleague’s immediate supervisor. A company seal is not sufficient, the document must be signed.

连coding都不算在这里面了，怎么申请C/C++啊？

自己研究了一下，解决一下我问的问题：
1。google 了一下Coding and Data Entry，这个是跟录入统计数据有关的。不是编程吧。
2。找了一个不知道是不是旧的79的列表，发现少的是如下的这些：
这些本来就跟engineer没有关系吧，只是跟计算机相关的一些job。所以应该还是没有影响。

ICT Consultant

Data Modeller

ICT Lecturer

Technical Writer

ICT Supervisor

Systems Specialist

Technical Support Officer

Senior Service Engineer

ICT Multimedia Specialist

Other Specialist ICT Personnel
3。guideline最后写了结果还是给如下的，所以还是会给出属于哪一方面的评估。所以，对现在申请C/c++没有影响。
•        the ASCO Code for Computer Professional not elsewhere classified (nec) with the specialisation stated in brackets - for example, 2231-79 (SAP) and
4。老板签字的话，就不需要公证了吧。如果找同事，需要Statutory Declaration， 不晓得是个什么咚咚。

我昨天发信问了ACS：
Dear Sir/Madame I've read your new guidlines. And I have some questions about the employer reference. "Statements must be dated, signed by your employer or a person authorised by your employer". What do you mean by "a person authorised by my employer". Could I ask my collegues who have occupied position that is in the same level as mine to sign the reference letter for me? Hope to hear from you soon!

今天早上收到回信如下：
Your letter will need to be signed by the author of the reference. This person should be a Manager or someone who holds a position higher than yourself.

他也没说得太具体，没说如果是后一种情况someone who holds a position higher than yourself，要不要Statutory Declaration，谁有兴趣继续发信问问哦。

做IT的来设计当然要严紧了，该表格经过反复推敲和测试 呵呵

This occupation group covers Computing Professionals not elsewhere classified.

Skill Level:
The entry requirement for this occupation is a bachelor degree or higher qualification or at least 5 years relevant experience. In some instances relevant experience is required in addition to the formal qualification.

Occupations in this group include:
Computer Analyst
Computer Scientist
Computing Tester
Database Analyst
Local Area Network (LAN) Controller
