我之前的帖子里面提到如果在网上申请了工作后马上打电话去联系用人单位或中介公司则会为你争取到至少30%的面试机会，下面我就手把手教大家如何运用这个技巧成功地取得面试机会。

When Responding to a job advert

第一步 - By pass the receptionist. (这一步尤其重要，新手往往死在这第一步，Gate Keeper的作用就是过滤掉她/他主观上认为没有价值的人。所以如何让你自己显得有价值则尤为重要。

You: Good morning/afernoon, may I speak to XXX please. (一般广告上面都会有一个名字）

这里提供两个被Gate Keeper提问的Scenario，90%的机会你会遇到以下的问题，有技巧的回答才能让你接触到真正的Decision Maker。

Scenario 1:

Reception: Can I ask who is calling?

You: My name is Michael/Jeff/Steven. (不要说太多，除非她问)

Reception: He/she is not available at the moment, can I take a message.

You: That's fine, but could you please tell me when he/she will be available so I can call back. (不要leave any message）

Reception: He/She should be free after an hour/this afternoon......

You: Thank you so much, I will call back then. Have a nice day. (这样的话你下次再打电话过来的话，前台直接转接你电话的几率将大大提高）


Scenario 2:

Reception: What is this in regards to?

You: I'm calling in response to an vacancy XXX had posted on Seek/Indeed......(这里一定要用这个人的名字，一定记住）

Reception: He/she is in a meeting at the moment, can I get your number and get him to call you back?

You: I would love to, but I will also be attending several appointments today, so the last thing I want is to play phone tag with him. I just wish to have a quick conversation with him to clarify few things about the role. So perhaps you can tell me when he will be available for me to call. （这里传达了两个信息，第一你很忙，要去Attend其他的Appointmen，第二你要确认一些这个工作上面的细节，所以不仅仅是工作岗位在Qualify你，你也在Qualify这个岗位）

Reception: He/She should be free after an hour/this afternoon......

You: Thank you so much, I will call back then. Have a nice day.


经过前面的过滤，你终于和Decison Maker接通电话，这时千万不能乱了阵脚。深呼吸，按照下面的套路去请求Interview的机会，明确自己的目的，不要在电话上说太多。

You: Hi XXX, My name is XXX, I'm calling in response to the position of XXX which is currently being advertised on SEEK/Indeed..... I believe I meet all the criteria and can be a perfect candidate for this role. Can I request a short meeting with you so we can discuss this opportunity further.

Then you wait, there will be 2 possible questions.

1. Could you please just send your CV to me, I will have a look and get back to you.

You: In fact I have already sent my CV through, I'm the one with 5 years experience of XXXXX in XXXXX industry, worked with industry leader XXX company. Because I am so excited about this role, I really don't want to miss any opportunity. Can we meet face to face to discuss further.

2. Ok, tell me a little more about yourself.
here you should use 20 seconds maximum to align your experience with the job descriptions.

到了这一步，你获得面试机会的几率将在50%以上。
