关于新政下的非优先的申请，移民局的答复

上周新政发布后，我在移民局网站上的feedback页面发了一个查询，想问清楚新政下非紧缺的案子如何审理、这次的优先审理具体是如何执行。
我发出的问题是这样的：

  I learnt from the article that some particular applications will be
  given priorities in processing after 1 January 2009, but what that
  document doesn't explain is that what will happen to those who doesn't
  have this priority you newly introduced and how will this priority
  processing be implemented?
...

今天收到了移民局的回复：
  Thank you for your enquiry of 18 December 2008 to the Global Feedback
  Unit.  Your query has been referred to the Skilled Migration section.

  The changes mean that applications which meet the new processing
  priorities will be processed before other applications.  We are unable
  to give a timeframe regarding how long applicants will have to wait
  before their GSM visa application will be processed.

  Further information, inlcuding how to seek sponsorship, is available on
  the Department's website at:

  I hope this is of assistance.

我的解读"will be processed before other applications"，很可能意味着非优先的案子要停了。。。

我觉得很奇怪，ASPC应该知道处理现在手头的案子需要多少时间啊，只要有个大概时间。如果现在只要是新递交的是优先组的，那么非优先的案子看来真的是很没底了

不可能给你准确答复的，技巧来着，万一他答应了你什么时间，到时候做不到你去用这份回信做证据去complain就不好办了。所以他们的回答一般都是等于没说...
