The plane tickets nowadays are cheaper then before. Do you think this is a good change?

My essay as below:
With the rapid economic development, the travel by air has grown dramatically in past years. And the flight cost trends to cheaper and cheaper with the sales volume going up. Somebody think this change will influence the air travel industry, while lots of people believe it should bring great benefit to the tourists. Personally, I do agree with the second opinion.

To begin with, I am sure the cheaper plane tickets also benefit the airways. According to the base economic rule, the sales volume will raise once the price becoming down. For the flight, the cost per trip is almost same whatever for 10 or 300 passengers. General speaking, the more tickets sold, the more income granted for the airlines. On the contrary, in case the air travel cost much higher then the others ways. Lots of the potential consumers will select other ways, such as by train, by long distance bus and by sea. It’s really a bad situation both for the passenger and the air travel development.

Further more, the affordable tickets’ price also benefit the development of other industries. If the prices become reasonable, more and more travelers will adopt flight as their primary traffic tool. As you know, travel by air is the most effective way so far. By this ways, the passenger can save lots of time to deal with other businesses. So, the cheaper air tickets should also help other industries to run in higher productivity.

Last not the least, providing cheaper tickets to the student will be recommended. I am sure student is a huge potential market for air travel, during the term-end and term-begin in particularly. It should be a win-win solution both for the education and airways.

In a word, cheaper plane tickets should benefit both for air travel and other businesses, even the students. Thus, I do believe the tendency for inexpensive flight tickets is a good change

不用客气了. potential consumers 没有这个说法,　正规用法应该是prospective consumers,这是个经贸英语词汇，代表预期消费者．
