这种用税前收入买笔记本的据说立即取消了，不知道还牵涉到什么其他的，望大家证实并讨论还有什么其他也受影响了

台式机本来就不抵税。以前laptop/pda可以。其实我一向喜欢台式机，这个政策要真的一直实施，下一台电脑就肯定是台式机了

看你是在什么单位工作的，如果是IT企业，你还是可以用税前工资买手提电脑的。

我公司4月份刚给俺配了一台本本，退了100多刀的税呢

也许，还有汽车改装LPG，这个好像至少1年内还有，大家要改还是赶紧。

我再仔细看了email，说的是on hold

其中的几句话：

In Tuesday’s Federal Budget announcement, the Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) exemption on salary packaging was changed effective immediately i.e. 7.30pm Tuesday 13 May 2008. This means that there will be changes to salary packaging of laptops and PDAs.

Those packages for laptops and PDAs which began prior to 7.30pm, Tuesday 13 May 2008, will continue as normal.

Packages scheduled to start after this time are on hold while we work through the implications of the announcement.

If your laptop or PDA deduction was due to begin in this week’s pay, 15 and 16 May 2008, money will be deducted from your pay. However, your salary packaging arrangement is on hold. When details are confirmed we will be able to let you know whether your package will be able to continue, or whether the funds will be returned to you.

Unfortunately there was no advance warning of this announcement.
