咨询ABN问题

听人家说申请ABN是免费的，我就毫无目的在ATO网站上申请了一个，还自己起了个公司名称(没用我的姓名)，是Sole Trader，但又有人说这样要交年费以维持公司名称，是这样吗？是否要交啥费用？目前没想出怎么用ABN呢，可以取消这个ABN吗？

ABN 是不要钱的, 但公司名称是要钱的. 它们往往同时申请一起用.

Sole Trader 是的business 名称是不要钱的, 但只能是你的名字.

谢谢LS。我只在ATO网站上注册了ABN，并给自己的business起了个名字，没用自己名字，没在其他任何机构注册business名称，这样是否被收费？现在也想不出ABN有啥用，若收费，索性取消ABN了。

If you do some business under your ABN and your name, you don't need to register business name.
When you give tax invoice to your client, you must provide your ABN.   
If you do business under you business name, you must register your business name. (for example, you do advisement use your business name, or provide your business name on tax invoice. ) It is not expense to register a business name.

我想LZ所说的名字是under trade as吧，那样的话应该没什么关系的，ABN的注册名字还是你自己的名字，只是有一个trading name而已，应该不要另外交钱的说。。。

If you use other name rather than your name as trading name, the trading name has to be registered.
