维州驾照官网信息分享，有效期和换香港驾照

最近在了解驾照的事情，查了下官网，跟大家分享一下

根据上面的说法：
If you have entered Victoria on a permanent visa issued under the Migration Act 1958 you may drive on your overseas driver licence, providing it is written in English or accompanied by an English translation or international driving permit for:
6 months from the date you first entered Australia if the permanent visa was issued before you entered Australia
海外驾照是到达维州六个月内有效，只要在国内公证成英文就可以了（我的理解），然后六个月后就需要去考驾照了。

另外是可以先换成香港驾照，然后用香港驾照换维州的驾照的：
Driver experience recognised

Listed below are the countries or jurisdictions where driver experience is recognised in Victoria. No tests will be required if you are 25 years of age or older and wish to convert a car or motorcycle driver licence to a Victorian equivalent:

Driver experience recognised
Bulgaria Hong Kong (5) Lithuania Slovenia
Czech Republic Hungary Poland South Africa
Cyprus (4) Republic of Korea (South Korea) Romania Taiwan
Estonia Latvia Slovakia

香港的驾照不好换吧，貌似要在当地居住才可以办理...

淘宝有办理的，中国驾照可以直接换。

从淘宝上看了一家，最近优惠，980左右，信誉还不错，其他家1000+。

亲们，我有两个问题：
1.我明年3月底短登，但打算17年长登，本次短登还需要驾照租车自驾，本次是否就必须用香港驾照换维州驾照？（不想以后自己重新考维州驾照的情况下）
2.换了香港驾照和维州驾照后，是否还会保留中国驾照？在国内开车还是有证驾驶的吧？
