As mentioned in earlier correspondence the initial entry date for your wife will remain the same as this date cannot be changed once a visa has been granted.
What the department has agreed to do in your situation is to allow your wife to arrive after her initial entry date in breach of the visa condition. A letter of facilitation will show she has special permission to arrive in breach of condition 8504.
The facilitation letter cannot be sent until after you have confirmed travel information which of course will not occur until after the safe arrival of your baby and until all necessary arrangements have been made for your wife and baby to migrate.
