It is the time to resume bushwalking in Sydney region before seven bridges walk next Sunday Oct 30 2011 "Oct 30, 2011 7 Bridges/7 Villages Walk at Sydney again" .
This Sunday Oct 23 2011, we are going to walk at Mt Kuring-gai Chase national park between Wahroonga and Berowra.
Wahroonga – Bobbin Head – Apple Tree Bay – Noname Bay – Lords Bay – Warrath Bay – Berowra (18-20 KM, 5-6 hours, medium grade)
The Bobbin Head section of Ku-ring-gai Chase NP has an excellent network of walking track. It is possible to walk from Wahroonga to Mt Kuring-gai following the Gibberagong (Governor), Birrawanna and Mt Kuring-gai tracks. Having picnic lunch break for about 1 hour at Bobbin Head is great enjoyable moment in Spring. After lunch, heading to Berowra along several bays such as Apple Tree bay, Noname bay, Lords Bay and Warrath Bay will take other 3 hours. The last part of track prior to Berowra has over several hundred meters ascent.
