Some people think distance learning has more benefits thanschools so schools will disappear from our lives. To what extent do you agreeor disagree?

Due to the incredible technological advancements intelecommunication and the Internet, distance learning has become easier andmore popular in this day and age. Some strongly believe that distance learningwill replace schools since it brings about more benefits. I personally disagreewith their perspective, and I will try to objectively demonstrate both viewpointsin a detailed way.

To start with, we have to admit that distance learning doesbring about many advantages that are evidently apparent in modern society.Firstly, it is more cost-effective than schooling education as accommodationand fare fees can be next to nothing, and tuition fees and also much lower aswell. Secondly, this new form of learning can be a pretty good choice foradults to attend vocational courses or professional training during weekendsand holidays. The learning schedule can be much more flexible since there is noreal attending.

However, it is quite undeniable that schooling education hasa variety of benefits that distance learning does not have. Apart from academicknowledge and technical skills, schooling education and technical skills,schooling education cultivates students more social and general skills, likecommunication, cooperation and negotiation, which will make students morecompetitive in their future workplace. Additionally, schooling education makesan effort on students’ psychological and physical development throughorganizing group discussions in class, team-based experiments in interest clubsand sports competitions after class. Finally, schools provide well-equippedfacilities and qualified teaching staff, offering students a better academicenvironment. In brief, all these advantages of schooling education mentionedabove a re distinct, which means distance learning can hardly offer suchservices.

To sum up, it is crystal clear that schooling education willnot be replaced by distance learning despite it has some merits.
