for joing so-called "challenging" (actually medium-hard or hard) walking at part of Great North Walk from Hornsby to Mt Kuring-gai, 21.17 KM with only 922 meters ascent and only 758 meters descent.
21 of us had several short breaks and half hour footfall playing time, super FB lunch
After walk we had big party (cake and super dinner) to celebrate our mate Viola birthday.

Somersby to Mooney Mooney Creek Loopornsby to (19.7 KM, 5-6 hours, about 700 meters ascent)
This loop track takes you through the Brisbane Waters National Park starting from the Girrakool picnic area and exploring Piles Creek all the way down to the Mooney Mooney Creek Junction, meandering back up to the spectacular Somersby Falls, following sections of the Great North Walk.

The Fall will be gone soon while Winter will come soon.

for joining great walk today at Part of Great North Walk at Brisbane Water National Park.
12 of us walked over 21 KM with about 640 meters ascent and another 640 meters descent. We enjoyed very much with different experience.
We had also amazing story due to unexpected track closure.
