One of our clients is a major competitor in the ICT solutions market for over 20 years. They have recently experience major growth throughout Australia, Vietnam and China.

The Role

We have a contract position available for a Sharepoint Developer. The ideal candidate will have previous experience and demonstrated passion for the development of MS SharePoint 2010/2013 solutions. The candidate can look forward to a generous bonus program and the possibility of advancement.

Responsibilities

-Consulting with the team in Australia and around the world to understand client requirements;
-Assessing, modifying and troubleshooting various applications;
-Working with management to regularly track progress;
-Maintaining current database systems;
-Preparing documentation relating to various applications;
-Creating and designing front end and back end applications;
-Regularly working with Agile and SCRUM methodologies and processes;
-Provide ongoing support to existing and new clients;
-Travel as needed.

Requirements

To be successful for the role the candidate must be a proven leader with professional demeanour and drive. The willingness to take ownership of projects and deadlines is critical and the candidate must be willing to work outside normal business hours if required. The candidate also MUST HAVE the following attributes:

-No less than 3+ years proven development/programming experience;
-Ability to provide pre-sales and post sales services;
-Proficient technical experience in:
*JSON or XML Web Services (REST Style or WCF);
*SharePoint 2010 or 2013;
*C#/VB.Net with ASP.Net MVC or Web Forms;
*MS SQL 2008 – 2014;
*Farm/sandbox solutions and Apps;
*Object-oriented programming and design;
*HTML & CSS;
*JavaScript, and modern client-side frameworks including Ember.js and AngularJS;
-Preferred: Unit Testing;
-Preferred: Source Control experience: TFS or Git.

Candidates must have a Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science or a related discipline
Any additional certifications/ qualifications will be highly regarded
