May 22 2011 Bushwalking at Brisbane Water National Park

This Sunday May 22 2011 we are going to walk at Brisbane Water National Park, the other part of Great North Walk.

Somersby to Mooney Mooney Creek Loopornsby to (19.7 KM, 5-6 hours, about 700 meters ascent)

This loop track takes you through the Brisbane Waters National Park starting from the Girrakool picnic area and exploring Piles Creek all the way down to the Mooney Mooney Creek Junction, meandering back up to the spectacular Somersby Falls, following sections of the Great North Walk.

You would surprise how easy this one is although it is still about 20 KM.
