一直觉得需要健身，但是绝对没有来到悉尼以后，对需要健身的需求这么强烈过。我家附近只有FF，入会以前对FF调研一下吧。

Cancelling membership

HOW DO I CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP AFTER THE MINIMUM TERM HAS EXPIRED?
After the Minimum Term you must give us 4 weeks written notice (counted from the next direct debit date) preferably using the required form supplied by Fitness First and available at the club.
It is preferable that you make an appointment to see the Customer Care Manager (CCM) who will help you fill out the paperwork. If you can't make an appointment, you need to put your request to cancel your membership in writing to the CCM preferably at your home club (where you joined originally). You can do this via email, letter or fax and it's recommended you follow up with the CCM to ensure your notice of cancellation has been received by the club. Please note: we ask that you do not use the website enquiry form as your way to cancel as we do require a signature or equivalent to complete the transaction. In addition, if any of the network engines fail, the email cannot be traced. Thankyou.

Financial penalties may apply. For explanation of the Minimum Term, please refer to your contract.

如果要取消会员，一定要提前4周通知，并且是从你的下一次付款的日期起算的，要书面通知客户经理，而且要自己跟踪，确定客户经理受到了你的书面通知，最后还有取消合同的罚金。

WHAT QUALIFIES AS MEDICAL AND RELOCATION REASONS?
You must provide documentary proof by a qualified medical practitioner that you are permanently sick or incapacitated from undertaking any exercise regime for a period of 12 months or the remaining terms of your membership (whichever is the longer).

For relocation, you must be moving to an area not within a 30km radius of a Fitness First club, as evidenced by a letter from a real estate agent or similar agent.

需要证明新的住址30km以内没有FF！~

You can only cancel your membership prior to the expiry of the Minimum Term for medical or relocation reasons (see next question for more details)

WHAT HAPPENS IF I CHANGE MY MIND AFTER SIGNING UP?
We offer a Comfort Guarantee. This is a 7 day cooling off period which starts from the date a contract is formed (or in the case of a new club, the grand opening date). To cancel your application and contract, you must tell us in writing (preferably on the form supplied by Fitness First) that you want to cancel your membership during your Comfort Guarantee Period. We will then cancel your contract and refund your initial payment less your administration fee (as per outlined on your member contract).

CAN I CHOOSE TO TRANSFER MY MEMBERSHIP TO SOMEONE ELSE?
You can choose to transfer your membership contract to somebody else if you do not have a Foundation or Family or Friends membership, you are paying $30 or more per fortnight and the person you are transferring to has not been a member for at least 3 months. In this case the departure fee will be waived, although other relevant fees will apply for the new member e.g. administration fee. If you do not choose this option, a departure fee will be charged depending upon the number of fortnights/months left on the contract.

转给其他人，行么？你必须是那种双周费用超过30刀的那种会员才可以转移，而且转移以后，另外的人需要支付管理费等其他费用。

最近FF经常在MX上登广告说多少次免费试用，但只有市中心几家才行。

FF其实真的不值那么贵。

FF主要是你拿着一张卡可以去很多地方练

当然如果你住的比较固定，在一个地方就可以

FF的器械不错， 有氧健身用的大部分是Les Mills的，所以也紧跟潮流了


至于提前一个月通知， 只要发个email就可以。
FF的价格并不是大家想的这么贵。我帮媳妇办的就是14.99每周，就是从一个小美女那转过来的

也许现在条例变了？

据说70刀 的 admin费用没办法免除，但是入会费是可以免除的 ，周费 可以讲价。

signing up you can either join 12month commitment (which is a bit cheaper but obviously you're committed) or month-to-month. if you're not sure about your motivation - start with a month-to-month membership, once you see you are using it a lot and can make the commtiment, then drop to a lifestyle (12 month membership).

you will always have to pay an administration fee of $70 (i think, it might be higher?) - you can't get around this fee.

the joining fee is where they have room to move - you should never pay a joining fee. that's what they use as their bargaining chip. so be strong on this one, and say you refuse to pay it.

虫子如果对ff有兴趣，可以不用急着入会，利用free pass去几次，看看自己到底喜不喜欢这样的形式。很多人去ff是参加group class的，trainer都很有激情，加上所有的人都一起运动，会督促自己坚持完一个小时的课程，但这样的class女生居多，即使是力量要求最大的bodypump也能看到超过一半的女生，像跳舞的zumba， body jam基本全是娘子军了

如果真的觉得喜欢，也觉得可以坚持下去的话，也不用马上入会。可以在网上搜索一下有没有人转让membership，有一些一般的deal，对方会帮你支付70刀的admin fee， 但可能有种种不足，比如不够便宜，只能用某一家gym，不能去platium gym, 还有大半年的合同。如果一些很好的deal，比如虫子说的10多刀一周，还结束了绑定的contract，这样的卡通常很少也很热门，你不仅要付70刀， 还要付出额外的来抢这张卡，曾经在ebay上看到一张卡被拍到了500+。

如果觉得找别人转让的太麻烦，这个时候可以考虑入会。现在有2种，一个是一年的合同，一个是flexible, 中途随时可以停,但要提前通知。不过一但入了会， 再发现有别人好的deal想接手就比较麻烦了，先要停掉自己的，（提前一个月通知），还有停掉以后三个月内不允许接手，这四个月一折腾，基本别人等不及你了。

其实如果能保证自己坚持去健身，ff还是挺不错的，还可以有免费smh拿。

ff被人最大诟病的是入会容易出来难。这可能也和各个分馆及人员有关系，看过网上的投诉，有的说去了几次没办成是因为他们要求有书面申请，还有说办理退会的manager老是因故不在。就个人经历还好，当时办了flexible的，办理退会主动提问要不要书面proof， 挑了个正常工作时间去，而不是下班的时候去找当时办卡的manager（特地没和他约，以防他故意不在），最后很顺利地退出了，不再扣款了。

其实很多gym都有免费的pass，可以充分利用再慎重作决定

比起国内中等偏上的健身房，FF不算贵，国内随随便便一年的会员价就要4，5千
而且，这里的健身环境和国内无发比，国内至少有一半的人都是在聊天，还有很多人只是利用健身泡妞，或者提高自身“档次”吧

FF容易进，难出？健身就是持之以恒的一项运动，既然想好了要出，何必进？在家里做几个俯卧撑，出外面跑跑步，也达到一样的效果了。国内加入健身房的很多人，是因为国内跑步不方便，车多，灰多，这里多好，像个大花园一样，而且坡度适中，对心率很好的

也不好这么说，澳洲流动人口多，哪天人家就relocate,只能退出了

我试过几家小的gym,也有很不错的。

所有商家都是这么做的，increase switching cost, to keep customers,电信公司手机签合同就是这么个例子了

我觉得去健身中心吧就冲着他们那个跑步机去的
上面有显示一会儿就跑了多少多少公里
不像在田径场跑n久才跑那么2-3圈就不行了
之前有办过aqualink的会员啊
100块钱入会费
结果就刚办那会兴冲冲的去跑了几次，游了几次泳
之后就再木有去了，半年不到我就去取消卡了
亏大发了
想想还是攒钱买个跑步机放家里算了

如果你在健身房都不能坚持下去的，在家里买个跑步机的想法还是算了吧 ，在学校里学习还是在家自学，哪个更难？想想吧

我办的是platinum home only的，就只能在固定的一家，不过这一家设施要好很多，而且离我家很近，两个礼拜42块钱
